mega jolt question

hay all im running a 1.6 pinto on bike carbs, and im wondering what mj to get, the tps or the map virsion? now i have the ablity to run vacum and im under the impression this is the best way to use mj, however to run a vacum i need a plenum type thing as on the website

has any one else gone down this route with the vacum plenum if so how big did u make it etc......... cheer the snake

I have MAP on my Mikunies, they have individual vacuum take offs which go to a small 10mm tube plenumn, this smooths out the pulsing and lets the MAP sensor see a constant vacuum

MAP is generally better, but only if you have a good and stable manifold vacuum.

With independent TB's or carbs the MAP can easily reach 100KPa while only or part throttle and may not to too stable at low RPM. Especially with a performance cam.

I ran TPS on my Megajolt and was very happy with it. I run MAP on my Megasquirt though as it is better for measuring the fueling requirements.

I think he simple answer is both will do the job but the best depends on your setup. Both will be significantly better than the old 2D dizzy.
