spiggot bearing

Hi guys
where is the cheapest place to buy the spiggot bearing which is used when mating the zetec to the type 9? Was quoted about 30 quid from the stealership Am I being a tight arse or is this the going rate for the piddling litttle thing?

Mine was much less than that from a main stealer....£5-£6 is my memory servers me correctly (although it was for a MT75 one, I dont know if they are the same)

I really dont understand how they can try and charge you £30. Maybe its gold plated?

spiggot bearing

I think I'll ask them to check the price again when the company mondeo goes for its MOT tomorow.Failing that I do know a good bearing supplier in Wortley,Leeds who may have one at a not so stupid price but I''ll have to wait until i brake the car back down for painting so i can measure the exact diameters

Just go into any of your local GOOD motor factors, ie brown brothers, partco, central auto supplies. They normally keep them or can get them and they should be about £5-£6 mark. Maybe less if your good at haggling.

Spigot Bearing

As you appear to be building a Tiger, have you tried to ring Tiger themselves? I bought mine from them, just £9.40 inc VAT and they keep plenty in stock. Give Sue a call me ode.
