Weber Venturi's?

I've read that my engine (XE) won't be able to rev past 6000rpm on my DCOE 40's.....so, is it possible to up this rpm limit by changing the choke's/venturi's for larger ones?
I do need to see what are actually in there now, but am I correct in thinking that the largest you can fit in 40's are 33mm?

I know it would be better to go to twin 45's, or even ditch the webers and go bike carbs or throttle bodies but I have these carbs and they are in amazing condition so I want to give them a run if only just to hear them!

What do you think?

Thanks Rich. Do you think that even with 36mm chokes it won't be enough?
I guessing that is the case otherwise the reccomendation/option would be to change to the biggest chokes rather than to 45 DCOE's.

Not an engine i am familiar with to be honest. but the principles ar still the same. If you can run tuned pintos and zetecs on 40s with the right jets, chokes etc. Then you should be fine on an XE.

Sorry not to be anymore help.
