R1 Carbs / Fuel Pump

Hi

Going to try and kill 2 birds in 1 post.

Got my bike carbs on for their first fit today (got it 2 start as well which was a bonus) the only real problem i have with them is i dont know what 2 of the pipe should connect to (in the photo below in green) to start the car i need to blow down these a bit to get some fuel to come out of the jets.

Also:

My fuel pump (R6) is currently in the engine bay working is it ok in the engine bay?

Cheers

Paul

The two pipes are air pipes just fit a filter on them
fuel pump will be ok at the front But they are made to push the fuel not pull
if you look in my photos you will see the filter on my carbs [ zx9r carbs ]
Look at the photo [ oil catch tank ] you can see the small filter

I was wondering what that filter was for. i assume on bikes those to connections go to the stock air box. Maybe i wont chuck the little breather filter from catch tank out just yet then!

Well done Paul, im not jealous at all!!!!
