32mm bike carbs

Will 32mm bike carbs be any good to fuel a standard 1600 zetec.

i would have thought a bit small i have 40mm zx9r carbs fitted to a 20l pinto
have you thought about ringing Bogg Brothers for advice there very helpful and friendly

They'll be fine. I've just done a set of 32mm Mikunis for a 2.0 Pinto pushing out 135bhp with a cam and it's running OK. 1.6 Zetec won't be anywhere near that - prolly round the 115-120 mark tops.

They'll be the equivalent (well, nearly) of a pair of 40mm webbers with 32mm chokes, so should be plenty for a 1.6. Could run a mild 1.8 on them if you wanted.
