zetec turbo manifold

hi what would be the besting size tube for the manifold for a zetec 2.0l turbo. ive got an exhaust i was ggoing to cut up but its about 2in dia pipes but i was thinking of porting the head to match the pipe. any ideas.

Get some schedule 10 gas/steam pipe. It's available in mild or stainless. I make all my manifolds from 90 degree bends. Regular thin wall exhaust tubing is too thin for the heat of a turbo manifold. Diameter wise, 1.75" is what you want. Has about a 1.625" internal diameter IIRC.

Doesn't the escort rst manifold fit quite well apart from one stud? Save a lot of trouble

Apart from it being horrible...

The top row of studs all need to be redrilled, and the nearside top on is only half in the head casting, and half in thin air unless you build it up with some weld.
