Anyone know how to remove the plastic gearlever socket on the MT75 box? I need to mod the surround and dont want to melt it....
Cheers.
Pete.

I managed to break it out. Its been moulded in to place so breaking it is the only I'm afraid...

Yep its molded in with a ridge and made of very stiff plastic it just shaters.
I smashed it of cut the center out and did away with the lift reverse.
edit to say if you meant the socket it self (white bit in my pic) then its a circlip over a washer then just pulls out.

Cheers both, just needed to lop the back 30mm or so off and thought I'd need to brace it, but looking at the bracket its made so the lever
platform can be welded in in different positions, so cutting the remaining 'loop' off the back will make no difference.
