I think I may be losing it!!!!
I started making a severely chopped down injection system today, hack sawed the plenum chamber (quite accurately for a hack saw). I wanted to square
off the cuts with a drill sharpened to 0 degrees, but the stop on my piller drill is only accurate to the nearest 5mm (£40 B&Q). So I made up an
audible stop, using a 9mm spanner, an exhaust clamp (used), this turned out to be really accurate and did the job a treat.
The silly thing is that the engineer on our industrial estate would have skimmed it for a pint of Butcombe, I think this locost bit is starting to
take over.
I have spent £800 so far and only need the seats, 3 sheets of ally, prop and rear lights to finish all bar clips and paint.
Think I need to get a grip!!
PS I would not like to do a cylinder head with it though!
