as long as your shaft is slid into the pilot bearing, you should be fine.

We've already pointed that one out in a previous thread, I presonally doubt it, but we shall soon see and I suppose it's not like the t9
is expensive to replace
beware, I've got yellow skin

A chap by the name of 'oioi' who occasionally posts on here has a VX-powered Westie. It has 215bhp and copes fine with a standard type 9,
so I think a 1.8t Audi should be fine!

but doesn't the audi have oodles of torque?
Anyway, if he's got the adapter he can easily replace it with a MT75 or an uprated type-9 or even one of the boxes from a cosworth (can't
remember who makes the box)

And if oioi hasnt broke his then no-one will!!! The gearbox is probs one of the few bits he hasnt smashed His motto isnt just words (Drive it like
you stole it)
Maybe the gearbox performs better sideways??????

He did break one, but that was because he forgot to fit the spigot bearing! It stil lasted a year or two, and he still had fourth gear and so managed
a tour of Scotland!
