If it's the 2l 16v then you can do it all with parts from a Sherpa van or an Ital if they had the right engine in. If it's the K series
then there are plenty Moggie 1000s, Midgets etc with them fitted so there is mabye some one doing kits to put them on a Ford type 9

Have you used the FWD bellhousing on that? Looks like one of the ZT160 type Getrag boxes with an adapter plate?

I had to use the Getrag bell housing as the ECU for the turbo engine needs to see a Hall effect trigger "square wave" rather than the
inductive type signal the 1.4 / 1.6 engines have. The crank sensor is in a different place on the Getrag box, you can see the hole for it just under
the turbo. It works and it runs now. More pics in my archive.

the obvious one is caterham who fitted this engine to a lot of cars. the k is also used in racing eg k-sports, front engine rear drive sports cars ie
mallocks etc.

if you use the caterham belhousing you will need the type 9 gearbox from a v6 sierra or capri as it has a longer input shaft. This then needs about
12mm chopping off the end. If you are going to use a 1.8 you will need to change the flywheel for one from a 1.4 or 1.6 and you will need a spigot
bearing from caterham so the end of the box fits the end of the crank.
Other bellhousings may be suitable for the standard type 9.
You may have an issue with the starter motor too! Have a brouse on blatchat, the caterham forum as they have been there and done it with the
'k' even if they don't like to get their hands dirty
The k series conversion is not the easiest engine to install imho. Although SteveC has done a great job of his turbo conversion.
