Jag manual gearbox drain plug

Does anyone know where the drain plug is for the xj40 manual gearbox?
I have the haynes manual but it only covers the auto.
I cant get under the car as im waiting for my new jack (should come today)





How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Sorry i don't know where the dran plug is but i found the filler plug if that helps.

I need to drain the gearbox oil before i undo the propshaft.

Not many gearboxes have drain plugs nowadays only filler/level plugs as there is not a change of oil specified for them. The oil usually drains out of the end when you tilt them with the prop removed . Plug the hole in the end if it's a push in prop and the oil should stay in.
