2.0 Blacktop temp sender
Got a question.
I have a 2.0ltr blacktop, a new one and plan to use the temp sensor in the head on the inlet side for the temp reading to my ecu.
However, i have a telemtrix temp gauge and sender from my previous silvertop zetec. I came to install the sender in the thermostat housing but couldnt
see how it would fit. The hole on top had some plastic directly beneath it although i am not convinced it is sealed, and the hole underneath the
thermostat housing where it was situated in the silvertop looks as though it is blocked off.
Are the blacktop/silvertop senders different? or am i missing something
