Quickshift Problems

I have a type 9 box with a westfield style extension and fitted a quick shift to it, when i go to select 1st it goes straight into reverse.

How can i stop this doing it, for some reason it seems to miss the reverse stop even thou when assembled but not on the gearbox it does touch the stop but by only 1mm

any ideas?

I had the same problem with my setup, probably because the lower end of the shift is sitting to low and missing the reverse stop. Try putting a couple of washers between the extention and the gearshift plate.
