what do these r1 7;s go like
hiya thinking of changing engine again only just swaped to 1.6 xflow but i want to go bec be offered full conversion drive in drive away. have any of
u got any vids so can here and see one go please as alot of cash will mean going to the bank

Is this the BEC owners club engine swap? I think they go very well (although personally cant comment). Have a look at Utube - plenty of videos of R1
locosts on there.

If anything, my BEC had been much more reliable than my CEC.

Not a '7' but it'll give you an idea. 350kg rather than 450ish for a BEC. Slicks (not on this occassion!) and wings.
My first drive in the wet, and only my second ever drive so not that quick.

At the risk of giving Mr GAmlin a big head, he can drive a bit, and his car has been 'developed' a little (realy good shocks for one
thing) but this is effectively a common-or-garden locost with an injected R1 and it SHIFTS!

just to let you all know after this topic im going for it going to have r1 carbs engine fitted hopfully in march as gotta get cash and no point doing
now and not being able to drive
