Engine Mounts for Zetec 1.8

Anyone know where I can get engine mounts for a Zetec to put in my Locost? Offered up the engine at the weekend, and it looks like it will fit OK, but the mounts we have (from a W***field) are going to be too wide. Wondered if anyone else has mounted a Zetec and where they got their mounts from.

I'm planning on fitting a Zetec, although it looks like it'll be a 1.6. My plan is to offer up the engine, figure out what shape/size the mounts need to be, model them up in AutoCAD then speak very nicely to Merlin about using his laser cutter!

Anyway, back to the point, when I've got the design done I'm happy to pass it on if it's any help.

Thanks for that ChrisW. Problem I have is a distinct lack of welding skills!! I was hoping that someone might have already tried this and might be willing to sell us some mounts. I emailed someone at T*ger (as they sell Zetec mounts) but he said that the two chassis are not similar.

I'll see what I can do once I got the design done

That would be good. I've emailed someone at Martin Keenan, as I noticed they had built a car based around a 1.6 Zetec, but no response yet.
