Coilpacks - location

Chaps,

Got to mount my coil packs and I'm in a bit of a dilemma as to where to put them.

Are they vulnerable to heat, making the transmisson tunnel a no-no, and do they give off magical electrical pulses that may interfere with signals to my ecu (which will be mounted less then a foot away)?

Any input/suggestions grateful.

Cheers

ATB

Simon

The coil pack is usually not a problem but if you are using EDIS then that does not like heat and should be put in the cabin.
My coilpack is mounted on the flat over the bell housing, i have seen a neat fit on a shortened diff cover on a Pinto.
