zetec rear crank oil seal

i think my rear oil seal on teh crank is leaking as im getting a small dribble of oil at the bottom of the bell housing / sump...

i have checked above the bell housing ( where the coil pack bolts on ) and its clean, so the leak is somewhere around the crank...

can the crank oil seal be replaced easily with out taking too much off the engine? obviously the flywheel will have to come off...

any ideas?

it turned out to be the cam shaft sensor...

i had the engine out last night to check and i traced the oil up the bell housing. with the engine out, i could easily see traces of oil on the coil pack - more so on teh inlet side. i then was able to see oil coming from the cam shaft sensor. so it must be running down the sensor, flowing out and running down the coil pack, on to the bell housing and down the block face to the bottom of the engine...
