mobile, new, well, its rubbish, sonyericson.
i went into the orange shop. need a new mobile
so, decided, after about 10 years of nokia(with a breif mistake with a motorola), i would try a sony ericcson K850i. lates all singing bla bla. great
camera etc etc.
so, deal done, great tarrif etc etc, i walk out happy.
get a call from my mate at work, i ask him how hos 850i is, he said hes on his 3rd since xmas, the touch screen bit is crap. i think, oh well, sure
its just bad luck....

its crap, i try it after the charge, and about 2 in 10 presses on the screen dont work. and that wound me up, so went back to the shop this morning,
less that 18 hours with the mobile, and swapped for a nokia, even thou they dont do swaps, after a call to orange, a moan at the manager, he changed
it for the new 6500 classic.
fanatastic, slim, metal, stunning, easy to use mobile.
so, moral, if you can call it that, stick with what you know and ask ya mates BEFORE you change..... lol.......

I bought a K750i for £60 from ebay about a year ago, it's never missed a beat and I find it far more user friendly than any of the Nokias I had
before.......depends on the actual phone you get I suspect...

There was a post on here just a few days ago with someone else having major problems with that phone! Never abandon the reliable Nokia!

see, its not just me, the 850i is rubbish. so glad i am not alone....
nokia, this 6500c is just amazing, on the laptop, with the pc suit in it, you can just drag and drop files into it. way better than any nokia
before.
i am a nokia fan, and from this episode, i am a nokia permanant.....

The K850i is not touch screen!
Your actually pressing the very top line of the keypad where the white dashes are, not sure if that was your problem.. but its not truely a touch
screen.

The K850 is awesome, just been writing an app to access the internal 3axis accelerometer to log this for 0-60 + g meter calculation

I've had the Nokia N95 8gb for about a month now and it's easily the best mobile I've ever owned. Really is the only phone that can
do it all.
Plus I can use it as a light saber!! I mean what more can I say!!

Iv had a few nokias but never liked them my last 6 phones hve been motorola and iv never had any problems
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

nokia is the king, the new one o have, the 6500 classis is easily a great phone.
i will never leave nokia again......
the man in the shop and the advert says its the touch screen.
but its just rubbish

I've had a K850i since October and it is great - really happy with it and certainly wouldn't swap it for a Nokia. My daughter has an N85
which spends almost as much time being repaired as it does with her.
