R V8 water pump end, heater hoses

Peeps,

I'm using the pipework for the (production car) heater to cool my turbos.

They've been blanked off on mine and I can't remember how they should go.

There are two pipes sticking out the front under the manifold.

Pics would be a great help. Can't find any specific pics in Haynes book, the R V8 tuning books or on the web.

Cheers very much

ATB

Simon

On the SD1 engine, one connector was at the back of the (standard, water filled) manifold and the other was a small pipe off the water pump pipe, via a metal pipe which ran under the centre of the inlet manifold.

Hopefully the pictures show it better than I can explain

correct. there are two elongated S-shped hoses that fit from the two pipes to the back of the water pump.

as ^^^ says, one of the pipes is a steel pipe that runs under the manifold.

The same at the back - again two outlets that go to the heater.

The water pump connects to radiator - that is the inlet and one of the hoses taps off that; in case you need the flow to be directional.
