megajolt pinto HT leads
Hi all,
Just in the process of changing to Megajolt ignition..
What HT leads are people using to go from the Ford coilpack to the spark plugs on a pinto..?
The std zetec leads are too short for where I need to mount my coilpack and the plug boots are huge..
help, guidance, anything . .. .

depends on which coilpack your using (early or late) for the early coilpack i used some from a Fiesta (£16 from Halfrauds)details below:-
Year: 03/89 > 12/92
CC: 1299
Engine Code 1: JBC
Engine Code 2: JBC

forget the zetec stuff
if you want a standard set of leads you need to look at the early 90's fords
some of the first cars to have this setup, had it fitted on an older style engine
so think about Mk3/4 fiesta & escorts with 1.1, 1.3 and 1.6's (but not 16v / zetec)
[edit]like the ones rayward's suggesting from an HCS engine'd fiesta
I'd guess that a KA might use the later coilpack style leads (its an endura engine - almost tha same as the HCS)
sorry I haven't worked out which is the best option yet (I planning to go and hassle the motorfactor up the road nearer the time)
failing that try above or here for custom leads:

As stated above fiestas are suitable or the ones from a CVH engined sierra would do.
