LSD Diff Oil

I got some diff oil from Halfords as specified for the Sierra. However, the small print on the back says "excluding LSD"

Can I use it in my LSD diff or is there a special LSD version

Paul

Are you using a sierral LSD? The sierra's diff has a sealed LSD unit. Normal diff oil goes in the diff.

Yes, Sierra Diff. So does it need any oil then or is it sealed

Is it the EP80 stuff? I have that in my 3.62 LSD. I believe the Hellfire guys use EP90 in theirs.

The LSD device is sealed. You need to put diff oil in the diff. The LSD device, being sealed, is impervious to the diff oil. The gears of the diff still need to be lubricated.
