Does anyone have a Rover SD1 short gearlinkage for sale or any pictures/sketches of what it looks like?

I was told once the cheap way to shorten the gearstick linkage on a SD1 manual box was to fit the one from a sherpa van, i am sure someone will
enlighten us.
