MT75 to Pinto?

Hello to everyone.

I need some help!

I have decided to use a 2.0 Pinto engine and mate a MT75 gearbox to it from a late DOHC Sierra.

But I don't know what clutch and flywheel to use as the flywheel was nearly three times the thickness of the Pinto flywheel.

Also the starter from the Sierra does not reach the ring gear on the Pinto flywheel which makes me think I will have to use the thick Sierra flywheel this would mean I could not only use the starter but also the Sierra clutch unit too.

So does anyone know if the Sierra DOHC and Pinto SOHC engines use the same stud spacings for the flywheels?

If anyone has done this same conversion and can give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated.

My suggestion may not be what you want to hear but for simplicity use a type 9.
