R1 Carb help needed

Hi all,

finally got everything together for the carb conversion, but I've got fuel coming out of the pipe arrowed with the bottom right arrow on the picture (the one with the 2 pipes joined into 1) - is it meant to do this??? If so I'll connect it to a return line.... if not - what can I do to stop it...

By the way Pezza, hope you don't mind me using your picture!

Thanks

Chris

if fuel is comeing out of there then either the fuel pressure is too high ,the floats are stuck open or set too high or the angle you have the carbs at is incorrect, R1 carbs are usually quite inclined.

Try taping the float chambers to see if the floats are stuck, sometimes a sharp tap free's them off so they seal

Ah - OK, I'll give that a go, I think the pressure is OK, because when the pipes are unjoined, there is only fuel from one of them....

Thanks

Chris
