VR Sensor
I need to buy a new VR sensor for my Megajolt. It has the number 6C 315 898F AC moulded into its top.
Does anyone know the price of these and do I have to go to Ford or are there patent parts available?
I would rather go new than secondhand from the scrappy then I know it will be reliable.
Also is this the correct part number form Ford or is it a moulding mark number? If it is not the correct number does anyone know the right Ford
number

You may have to pay over £40 for a new one. Worth going down the scrappy and getting 2 or 3 in you pocket ;-) £££££££

Any VR sensor will do the job , mine is a Fiesta diesel one (£10 off fleabay ) , jsut pick the cheapest/easiest to get hold of one and make a good

Just get a few from the scrapyard , Fiesta ones are the easiest to remove as easy to get to on the front of the engine. They rarely go wrong ,are you
sure yours is faulty?

Just a word of caution I have two types, one of unknown ford source and one from a 1.8 zetec , the unknown one is longer betweem its mounting flange
and the pick up end
