Getting the blummin cambelt pulley off a pinto crank
How is this done?? do i need a special slimline pair of pullers?? When i took the crank out, i just took the ally housing off the block with it, but
now want to take it apart for cleaning.
Cheers
Ed.

Get hold of a decent puller and don't be tempted to 'help it along with a gentle tap' it's made of quite soft metal and
deforms easily..... I speak from experience !
Anyone got a spare pulley for a 2l pinto they don't want ??

Gotta agree with proto- a hub puller's the way to go.
Mine was a fiver from a show and is used a lot.
Anybody got *two* spare pulley's?
Cheers,

on the front of the pulley are two (or 4) 8 x 1.25 mm threaded holes, leave the centre bolt in but loose, fit plate to front of pulley with 2 x 8mm
bolts & in centre of plate you need a threaded hole to take a 10 x 1.5 mm bolt. this when screwed in (the 10 x1.5 mm bolt) will push against
pulley bolt and hey presto the pulley can be removed in seconds (ish).
Enjoy
P.S. you should be able to work out basic dimensions from the above.
