Transaxles with removable bell housings

As per title really, am putting my V6 duratec in the back of my saab 96, to get a transaxle to fit the V6 i plan to cut the bellhousing off a transverse gearbox i have and weld it to the bellhousing of the transaxle. I was going to use an audi gearbox but have realised that they aren't removable bellhousings so if i break the gearbox i would have to make up a new bellhousing or get the box rebuilt. So if i use a transaxle that has a removable housing then this is not an issue.

I think the Renault transaxles have these type of housings? is that true?

Cheers for any help
