zetec thermostat housing - fan switch?
Hi
Below is a pics of my 1.8 zetec thermostat housing.
What are the 2 sensors for (top and bottom)?
Can either of them be used as a fan switch for the radiator?
I am having trouble locating a fan switch for my radiator (1985 micra) so I was thinking maybe one of these sensors might be a fan switch??????

Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

Top is ecu temp sensor Bottom is gauge sensor.
neither can be used as a direct fan switch. The mondeo ect used the ecu to drive the fan relay using the ecu sensor.

Do what I did (as Allegro radiator! parts are scarce), visit the scrap yard opposite Tesco Danestone and get a switch and snap the boss out of a VW.
Then Solder it to the side of the radiator. That way you have the more common 22mm switch.
