Inlet manifold nuts

I had to remove my inlet manifold last week (fireblade carbs) and i'm wondering when refitting wether to change the nut type.

I used nylocs last time but did read that the heat from the head can reduce the lock from the nylon on the nut, i was wondering what others have used or since i didnt seem to have any issues with the nylocs should i just stick with them ?

Nylocs will be fine on the inlet manifold, they shouldnt get any hotter than the max water temperature.I have fitted my inlet manifold with short set screws and spring washers and had no problems .
