Filter King servicing

Im having what seems like a fuel starvation problem and working my way from the tank to the carbs making sure everything is clear.

How do you get the filter out of a Filter King fuel regulator?

Does the bowl simply unscrew? Does the adjusting screw need winding out first?

Thanks

If it's one of these bunnies:-

Then all you have to do is unscrew the big thumb-wheel at the base, then pull the wire retainer to the side. The cup can then be removed, giving access to the filter.

One warning: the cup will contain a fair amount of petrol!

yes - undo the nut below the bowl (can be glass), then the u-shaped wire can be moved out of the way to releasethe bowl.

spares can be obtained from FSE (fuel system enterprises)
