no exhaust
hi there ,just managed to get xe running on r1 carbs but very lumpy ,as title there is no exhaust as such fitted.
just the four branch loosly on side not conected to ought
would you expect this or should it run something like ?????
also after some info about tuning r1 carbs if anyone can point me in the right direction

Well it certainly wont help the tuning of the engine. Especially if it needs the back pressure from the exhaust.
Exhausts are especially tuned for engines so i'm guessing it works both ways.
Get an exhaust on it before trying to tune!

Bolt the manifold on properly and Get an exhaust on it and then see mate. I dont think XE's like having no exhaust on.

the exhaust the tricky bit need it cut and shutting to fit
