Sierra LSD again

Looked around here for the possibility to use non LSD driveshaft on my "new" LSD.

Found no real solution.
I have a non LSD on the car, it´s a 3,62 from a 2,0DOCH -92 Sierra, got a 3,62 LSD from a Sierra Cossie ca -91. Got extra shafts from 2,DOCH but no Cossie ones.

Same diameter and splines inside the diff but different length - no fit!

Found out that there are 25 splines on a non LSD shaft (the shaft not joint) and 25 splines inside a Granada/Scorpio inner/outer joint. And they fitted perfectly!
Just bought 1 used Scorpio shaft cause inner and outer joint is the same one.

Now I had 2 Driveshafts with outer tripodjoints and screwed inner joints. And it seems all lengths are ok.

Winter project will be to fit the LSD without removing driveshafts from my new wheelbearings, just to change the innerjoints. Rescued attachment knudan.jpg

where are you based? I could be interested in your left over bits for my de-dion install. I'm having to have shafts made up and any spares in case the job goes wrong would be appreciated.

10 blot CWP?
What Volvoaxel are you using?

You want to fit a Sierra LSDunit in your Volvoaxel?

Number of bolts and diam. of crownwheel?(maybe 7inch)

Number of splines into diff + diam.?

I don´t understand this:
"do you have a dimension from the crownwheel face to the bearing race ?"

I´ll goto my workshop tomorrow and check it, i´ll be back.
