bike carbs airbox (the locost way)or this one

The idea was to make my own easily removable air box that will fit to the pipercross px600 backplate i already had for alot less than the £190 pipercross version
take 1 surplus exhaust

cut out a cross section and remove baffel
blank 1 end and fit cold air duct to the other

cut out an abs (carbon) backplate to match the pipercross

rivet the can to the backplate with ali angle

fit the new airbox and backplate to the origonal plate

just to fit the remote filter situated in the nosecone and job done
cost =
£5 for airfilter
£4 for secondhand airduct and hose
£0 abs carbon left over from dashboard
£0 exhaust taken off car when system replaced
total =£9
exhaust
