Balance pipe ?

I'm just getting started on preparing a 2.5 Mazda V6 to fit into a Fury (mine is working so well I've agreed to do another....) and I've been wondering about building a balance pipe into the exhaust's - mine has two separate exhaust's , but if I make the sump shorter (lengthwise) I can make space to run one under the engine .
Any benifit's ? Or am I just making more work for myself ?

Its cuz I is blond , innit

I'd originaly planned to fit a V6 to mine and had looked into using a balance pipe.
