V6 Engine Options

What are your thoughts on the best option for a V6 mid engine? I would like something relatively small/light but with 220+hp if possible.

I was considering the 300zx twin turbo but it looks a big lump. Great power, easily tuned and I could use all the running gear/rear suspension.

What other options can you think of.

Thanks,
Steve

Renault L7X out of a Clio?

Up to 2003 ish had 223 BHP - newer shape had 255 BHP. I think it mates up to the UN1 transaxle nicely or you could use the PK6 6 speed box it came out of the car with.

Same engine was fitted to lagunas, espaces etc but with way less power.

For a mid engined car longitudinal engine/gearbox will give you more choices suspension-wise. Something from the Audi A4/A6/A8 range should do nicely

the audi would suit better .

PRV only fit the UN1 in the earlier versions like the venutri or alpine , the clio is transverse like it is in the 406 coupe et al .

The UN1 can be made to fit the v6 out of the clio, there is a Renault 5 Turbo 2 with this engine/gearbox combo on retro renault.
