Bike carbs

Hi all just thought i would share this with you all , I'm running a vauxhall C20XE engine on Kawazaki Bike Carbs in my Luego Velocity, I put them on a homemade manifold and it started and run reasonably well, when cold they were not too cleaver but once the engine had warmed up they were pretty good.
But i had spoked to Bogg Brothers (PETER) a couple of times on the phone, and what a nice bloke he was, very interesting and very very helpfull.
So last week i took my carbs off and sent them up to peter , and he stripped, cleaned and re-jetted them to 1.7mm, blocked up some other holes, and set the mixture screws (3) turns out, I sent them up to N/yorkshire on wednesday they arrived back today tuesday ive fitted them back on and WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! what a transformation, now i'm looking to get it to the rolling road A.S.A.P. to see just what i have got on tap, and while im there i think i will get him to lubricate the hinge in my ankle, after all we cannot have any binding in the accelerator linkage now can we ha ha ha. So if any of you chaps out there have got troubles with your Bike carbs do not hesitate to give Pete a call , they only cost £50 for that service well worth it.
Regards BILL.

PERSEVERANCE is the word of the week. Stick with it the results are SWEET.

Well said that man. I drove mine down spilling petrol out the exhaust. Way too rich

An hour on the rolling road and analyser, some tweeks to the carbs, jets, needles etc my emissions were spot on with a loverly clean pick up to the red line.

120bhp at wheels and all for a nice £80.

Highly recommended.

If only they were a bit closer!

Then again if they were based in London I suspect they wouldn't be as cheap.

Another vote from me too.

Car was great when i first fitted carbs (i serviced and jetted them myself using the free guide offered by Boggs). After the rolling road it was way better. Dave did them for me, the whole Boggs team were a pleasure to deal with. No bullshit, no wild claims, they just quietly confidently do what they know works and leave you with big smiles.
