2 months hard work, what do you think so far?

Got the engine and gearbox finished once

I have the megajolt we'll see if it works

Yes a 1.8 cvh from a 1990 sierra a lot of the bits have red lead on them at the mo but will be painted in a colour ro match the car. The carbs are Suzuki gsxr750r's

Nice work. My first engine was a 1.8 CVH - I think it's underrated.

Where's the manifold from?

Hi Stu I made the manifold myself, I had the exhaust gasket drawn up in CAD and then used 40mm steel tube which I squeezed to an oval shape and cut to 70mm long then "lobstertailed" to line up with the Carbs. The new manifold plate was made without the water inlet that the old manifold had, this palte blanks in off. I have removed a core plug from the rear of the head and the new thermostat housing will fit there. Ill post some piccies up later this week shownig the manifold from a different angle and the thermostat housing once it is finished.
