Nice work. My first engine was a 1.8 CVH - I think it's underrated.
Where's the manifold from?

Hi Stu I made the manifold myself, I had the exhaust gasket drawn up in CAD and then used 40mm steel tube which I squeezed to an oval shape and cut
to 70mm long then "lobstertailed" to line up with the Carbs. The new manifold plate was made without the water inlet that the old manifold
had, this palte blanks in off. I have removed a core plug from the rear of the head and the new thermostat housing will fit there. Ill post some
piccies up later this week shownig the manifold from a different angle and the thermostat housing once it is finished.
