Has anyone fitted a VW 16v engine to a ford type9 gear box?
Or used a Mazda mx5 engine & box in a locost?

Donkervoort is using T9 ford box.
They have a belt that is manufacured for them.
In Germany there are other company's that use the Audi 1.8 turbo ( don't now if it is the same bolt patern of the engine that you speaking about)
www.HKT-7.de

I was also reading a built side from a guy in the Nederlands, that is building a prototype for the Westfield importer in the Nedtherlands with the same Audi engine.

So I think that the Audi engine is gaining intrest and that a belt will be availble soon somewhere on the market
