Well we have just got back from another excellent road trip with the guys and girls of SKCC. 5 days 20 kit cars over in europe.
here is a little taster. if anyone in the south of the uk isnt already part of this club then i would highly recommend getting on board and joining
in as it is probably the most active kitcar driving club in the country with a run sometimes two or three every weekend and several road trips every
year within the uk and europe.
there is no BS just lots of good clean fun and brilliant banter to boot. the only requirement to become part of skcc is get in your car and drive it!
builders are welcome to join in and most drivers are happy to take builders as passengers if you ask on the SKCC forum nicely.
Le' Mans Start at the disused Reims Race Circuit

just to add, that we're more than happy for folks from other locations to join in, be that on a weekend run or one of the longer trips.
We have a little posse up in the Peterborough/Lincs area, as well as a contingent in Herts / essex.....
on this EU trip we were joined by our northern most members: grimsby, manchester and Stoke......
the bit of detail that Ash missed out: France through Belguim passing Spa and up to the North of the Eifel Region, a quick pop into the 'ring for
some viewing before night by the Moselle.
Down through the Black Forest and into France in the Alsace before coming home via the Somme.......we normally cover 220-250 miles a day broken up
with planned stops - coffee/lunch, although there's always the option to go off piste or to take a more direct and enjoy a bit of time in an
interesting location.
20 cars, 1300 miles, tons of banter for not a bucket load of cash......
next year is already in the planning, 5 days in France, down to the Central Massif.......
Do you all travel together or in small groups? We've done 9 cars and 2 bikes and traveling together was a pain; A simple fuel stop could take an
hour.
3 weeks to our trip. Dolomites this year... Can't wait!
This was a bit of favorite road from last year... Col du Rousette
we all have itn's on sat nav, we normally start off together but there is no requirement to stay in formation thats just boring. the big group normally ends up in 3-4 smaller groups and we all catch up on the coffee and lunch stops.
We will have to sign up to this as well. We like to get out and about ourselves, we are a small group and also have a facebook page as well.

Apart from a 1 week trip to the nurburgring in 2011 we tour the country attending race meets with the odd camping.
