Kit friendly MOT station around Birmingham
smart51 - 20/11/08 at 01:15 PM

My first MOT is due in the next month, so I'm looking for a kit friendly MOT station in the Birmingham area.

The only good MOT station I know has too steep an approach to the garage and a kit would be beached because of its ground clearance. Also the BEC has no reverse so I want a garage that is not down hill going in and won't pull their face at it not going backwards. Someone who understands Q plate emissions would be good too. I've heard stories about that...

i know one in Walsall, it is where i took my westfield when i had one.

I know the guy who runs it, as my mate has a cobra, and so does he.

There is a slight incline pulling out onto the main road - but clutch control should solve that.

Hills don't trouble the car by themselves. I just don't want to push it backwards up a 1 in 3 to get it out of the garage.
