just had the outcome of running an engine after dunting the sump...
buggered heads.

sooo...im after a new engine as itll cost about 1500 quid to fix.
im thinking zx12, or another r1 or equivalent...

any floating around out there? not having much luck on the bay of E...

Carbs ecu airbox the lot it's a proper nice engine aswell I was going to bling it up and fit it to my car

A1 has the task of making sure that the new engine is and ready so that I will not miss out on the summer runs and track days..

Most of the parts are there and ready to go he just needs to clear his workshop out of his last project first.

Might have to put a penalty clause in the contract for late delivery, then again if he has new engine to buy for his on car he might just get his skates on!!!!!

Defo not my engine is locked safely away in my garage at the moment, A1 had an awfully lot of parts on a work bench that could resemble an engine when put together.....

A1 there is a good looking ZX12r engine on the bay at the moment going for just under a grand that could be of interest to you???

He most certainly will be on the road for the summer
r1 engines are good, not had any problems with mine...apart from that backroad out of gala...

I had a look at that zx12 engine, but its got a cracked mount, so im not a million percent on it... might go for it though, cause it seems to be the only one!

ps, theres extra parts there now, got the old one out to break and sell... 4xv/5pw parts anyone?

Never noticed the cracked mount!!

I will have to have a scavenge around your car to see what R1 parts I can squeeze onto the Locost, prop, loom, cradle and manifold.

There will defo be a certain pecking order to the group power wise if you go down the zx12 route

in a good way or a bad way?
there might not be 5pw parts... mightve found me a new head...fingers crossed!

you can have a wee look though, ive got a full 4xv, apart from second gear.

In a good way young man, I would still be somewhere near the back of the group........
