I'd like to move my side mirrors from the scuttle to the front pillars of the roll cage. Am I allowed to weld a small bracket on if it wasn't there originally when the cage gained its certification?

wouldnt if i were you, scrutineers can be a funny lot and giving them sdomething to latch onto is never good! i have used exhaust clamp successfully in the past for mounting mirrors
