I have the sierra pedal box fitted to a locost chassis and it sticks up into the engine bay and in front of the scuttle.
My question is, do i have to box it in so that nothing can get into the passenger area from the engine bay because as it is with the bonnet off you
can see down onto the drivers feet?
Cheers,
Steve.
Mine is open, which is great in winter but my legs get hot on a warm day.
so you have plenty of leg room then?
i deff would box it in...
imagine an engine fire with fuel all over the place then it wont be easy to break...while burning your feet...
my advice = box it!!
a bit of alloy can keep water/fuel etc. simply out!!
Tks

BUt is it a requirement? I guess not if some of you are in a similar position.
