hi all
can anyone tell me the best place to get fuel cap and fuel hose required to tank from?
needs to be suitable for IVA
had a quick check round but all seem very expensive.
maybe its just me being tight!!
thanks in advance

Steve, if you mean an aero style cap they simply are expensive, so far as I'm aware I have them cheaper than anyone else at £69 (plus P & P), but not a cheap item I'm afraid

Hi

Try these guys.

linky

I've used them a lot for fuel pipe into the tank and out plus they made up my brake pipes too.

The prices have always amazed me.

Maybe its because they are made of a special alloy that is mined only from underneath a killer
pterodactyl`s nest near the summit of K2 which only produces 2 grams of this precious metal every 5 years.

Either that or we are all getting ripped

i dont understand why they are so dear. wouldnt be quite as bad if you got fuel hose to go with it but thats another twenty odd quid from what i can see!
any way rant over, i will just have to keep checking.

Steve, how long fuel hose do you need?

the fuel hose needs to be 2" to go onto tank and hose i have looked at is a 90 degree angle. approx 5" inches either side

no reason you can't use one of those ally joins is there? Those are at CBS et al

I got some proper thick braided rubber pipe from a local land rover specialist, had to trim a little off each end but the bend was a perfect fit, I'll see if I still have the Britpart part number that was on the pipe

instead of going to bed i've just found .......

http://www.retroanaconda.com/landrover/parts_books/90/7_brakes_fuel_air_exhaust_cool_heat_p581-718.pdf

which means the bit you're after is probably NRC9291 or NTC2338.

Have to say, fair play to the bloke who's set up that site. Its a mine of information.
