BEC Owners Club and MNR Racing Important Announcement
zxrlocost - 27/6/07 at 10:34 AM

Hi,

Following a meeting with Marc and Chris at MNR Yesterday (Tuesday),

I am pleased to announce I am now an Official Agent For MNR Racing.

I shall be supplying the superbly engineered all tubular chassis Vortx, mainly concentrating on the RT Inboard, from our base in the West Midlands.

You will be able to purchase turn key cars from us built to your requirements, and we will also be supplying easy to build starter kits, should you wish to build yourself using the 130 page build manual, along with any upgrade options you require, etc.

There is a huge potential market in the area surrounding the West Midlands, who aren't aware of the Vortx, but will be now.

Local customers can benefit from help/service on the doorstep.

I'd like to express thanks to Marc and Chris and Im comfident this will be successful for everyone involved.

Expect the website next week and the first turn key car during August, along with an open day around the same time.

If anyone needs to contact me please do so on the club line 01543 451760 or mnr@becowners.co.uk

Thanks
Chris Darby

That is great news, I wish you every success. I may be in touch if current sales plans go as expected

I've discussed this with other locosters before (who have mostly disagreed!) but I am convinced there is an untapped market for a "kitcar main dealer" who can address a market for turnkey cars, servicing, repairs etc to the end user who doesn't want to build and maintain their own car but can't afford an Elise/Atom/Caterham etc. The trick will be letting them know the option exists without bankrupting yourself doing the marketing.

Chris,

Congratulations Suspect are paths will cross in the near future

Was the meeting conducted with wellies on ( due to the flooding ?) eagally assisted by the Two dogs ?

PS where are you in the West Mids ( SWIMBO comes from Telford - The outlaws are still there )
So we do the journey from Yorkshire a fair bit.

All the best

Will you be carrying MNR spares, should I need any?

zxrlocost - 27/6/07 at 12:24 PM

Thanks for the comments everyone, Jubal I agree with you a full 100% and Im going to work my hardest to get this across to the potential market along with the servicing etc afterall the £ for £ performance and looks of the car are pretty well unbeaten theres no justice if others dont think this

Agriv Im based at Cannock Chase Enterprise Centre on the Rugeley Road however shall be moving to a more suitable unit within the area

and colin cant see why I cant get you parts should you need them

thanks chris
