battery that came with my project is too big for the bracket that i have for it which alreadu has the mounting lugs in place, be much easier for me to buy a battery the right size than make a new bracket.

battery must be around 150mmx65mmx130mm (LxWxH), ive had a look on t'internet and found a couple, but are there any other brands better than others or is it all much of a muchness?

batteries are not all equal. If you call Andy bates he will supply a gooden that wont let you down.

I have been using a Westco Motorcycle Battery YTX24HL, 12V 22Ah (12V22) with 350CCA on my XS1100 Trike.

It has been well abused, having been left unattended for months at a time and still keeps going.

Finally got round to speaking to Andy, top bloke!!

Told me what was possibly in mine judging by the dimensions, offered me a top spec alternative and also making me a bracket to fit!!

I need a battery also.. something nice and light

I must speak to andy see what he's got for me!
