Following the recent insolvency/administration threads on Westfield I thought I'd post this up for anyone interested.
It's the "Bloody Mary special". Self built for hill climbs and the like by a couple of brothers in 1929. It's now in Beaulieu
National Motor Musem and quite fscinating to look over. Clearly no SVA/IVA to take into account for road worthiness (or a massive amount of driver
safety).

The reported build cost in 1929 was £25 (a Google check puts that at approx. £1,692 in today's money).

It's only got one on the driver's side at least
I’ve seen it several times and think it’s wonderful, so simple, wooden chassis, very light.
He was a well known motoring journalist as well as driver.
