I done a full engine flush on my in-work jester
On trying to get rid of the old stuff
Two 25 litre water containers full of old rusty/brown/coolant plus the flush cleaning agent
On going down to my local recycling center In Oxfordshire I was told they could only take five litre maximum
I tried a company that was supposed deal with this sort of stuff.
They never got back to me twice.
When you do an Internet search all you get is
ooh dump it down the drains or the nearest fields
Not the brightest of reply's
Any advice would be good

5l is a stupid limit - many vehicles need more than that for a single change. My old Land Rover holds 10.25l
Just rock up and dump it, no-one at the dump is paid enough to stop you.

No when I spoke to the guy there its a one time Max with 5ltrs or they class you as trade the sites are all none trade

If you're in no rush leave the containers in the sun with the lids off (but don't let cats near then as they love the stuff and it can be fatal) - eventually it'll evaporate down to manageable amount or powder.
This has recently been discussed on the caterham site - in America / Canada the motor factors have a deposit place to drop your old stuff. The suggestion over here is to go round your local garages, ask them to take it and offer a donation.
