Tuned Pinto Induction
Trying to help a mate out with a tuned Pinto
He has a pinto with a KENT rally cam and it made about 170 bhp on twin webers
Problem is he now wants to use this engine in a spare Mk1 Escort shell that he has in a regulated championship where he is limited to two chokes
maximum
So it needs to run either twin SU's or a single twin choke carb
Just wandering if anyone has been in this situation before as I'm wandering what it would run like on a single 45 DCOE ?
I thought about using a single 48 but the price of these has gone daft secondhand

How about a twin choke down draft off a 3000l Essex v6 re jetted.
