DRC- just noticed an error in your maths.
Like a lot of people it appears you've assumed a ton is 1000kg but thats a tonne. A ton (as used in power:weight ratios classically) is 907kg.
That puts your power:weight ratio at 183Bhp/ton.
I thought my power:weight ratio was quite good until I found that out last week. Now I've definately got to get more POWER
